It has always been my dreams to open a family day care center. I've had this dream since giving birth to my first child in 2003. I wanted a way to stay home and care for her while putting my degree in Early Childhood Education to use and earning an income in the process. This dream finally came to be in July of 2013. I quit my job as the Assistant Director in a large day care center and I'm finally caring for children in my home on a full time basis. In October of 2013, I received my licensed from the state of Colorado to care for six full time and two additional school-age children. I have been loving every minute of owning my one child care. I love teaching preschool age children and this is the age group I work with on a daily basis.
Psalm 127:2 Says those the Lord Blesses, he provides for even as they sleep. EVERYTHING I have in my playroom was given to me. The only things I've bought is the bookshelf in our library, everything else was donated. I feel incredibly bless to have a private preschool program in my home and I would like to share our daily learning opportunities by blogging about them.
